In Release 4.0A, a function for fusing characteristics is
available in the Shop Floor Information System, Quality Management
Information System and Inventory Controlling.
Fusing characteristics means grouping together characteristics that
are logically related.
Example:
The key of the characteristic 'work center' consists of the
characteristics 'work center' and 'plant'. Characteristics fusing
takes this into consideration and the system dynamically joins
together the characteristics 'work center' and 'plant' to make the
characteristic 'work center' at runtime.
Characteristics fusing is configured on the system side for the characteristics listed below. It affects the standard amd self-defined analyses.
