In Release 4.0A you can maintain an execution factor in the
network header. This execution factor affects all activities in
which an execution factor has been entered:
If you have already created activities that have an execution
factor, these factors are multiplied by the header execution
Iy you change or enter an execution factor in an existing
activity or a freshly created activity after you have a factor in
the header, the new factor must be a multiple of the header
If you do not want an activity to be influenced by the
execution factor in the header, make sure that
there is no execution factor in the activity.
This is important for processes like
design, which are not affected by execution factors.
The execution factor affects work, duration, material quantity
If, in the course of assembly processing you enter a quantity
>1 in a sales order item, this is converted to a production
quantity and transferred to the network header as the execution
factor. In this case the execution factor cannot be changed in the
header, but only in the sales order.
