Up to Release 4.0A, it was always the price of the last-maintained validity period that was quoted. However, this price was liable to be either obsolete or not yet valid.
As of Release 4.0A, the system determines the price dynamically. The currently valid price is thus always shown. In special cases (e.g. a contract has expired or is not valid until a later date), the last or first price is displayed.
The pricing date in the purchasing info record or outline agreement indicates the date until which the price is valid.
