QM: BAPI / BOR

Description

The following business objects and methods are available in the QM application component as of Release 4.0A:

Business object: Inspection lot (InspectionLot)

BAPI: InspectionLot.GetList

This method allows you to generate a list of inspection lots on the basis of various selection criteria. You can select inspection lots on the basis of a material, batch, order, run schedule header, vendor, or customer.

BAPI: InspectionLot.GetOperations

This method allows you to read a list of operations for an inspection lot.

BAPI: InspectionLot.StatisticalInterface

This method allows you to transfer the inspection results for quantitative characteristics to an external statistics system and trigger the statistical analyses.

Business object: Inspection lot characteristic (InspLotCharacter)

This business object is assigned to an operation and describes what must be inspected.

Inspection specifications such as the sample size, number of samples, and the conditions under which the entire inspection lot quantity should be accepted or rejected are defined for each inspection characteristic.

BAPI: InspLotCharacter.GetRequirements

This method supplies the inspection specifications for a characteristic.

BAPI: InspLotcharacter.GetResult

This method reads the inspection results for the inspection lot characteristic and provides the following information:

BAPI: InspLotCharacter.SetResult

This method reads the inspection results for the inspection characteristic.

You can also update existing inspection results. In this case, the results can be read with this BAPI. Both methods use the same data structures.

Business object: Inspection lot operation (InspLotOperation)

The inspection lot operation contains all activities for inspection characteristics that must be carried out in the work center.

BAPI: InspLotOperation.GetList

Using this method, the system can generate a list of operations for a specified inspection lot.

BAPI: InspLotOperation.GetChar

This method generates a list of characteristics for a specified operation. You can limit the selection of characteristics on the basis of the characteristic status using a filter (processing mode).

Business object: Inspection point (InspPoint)

The inspection point is a reference object that is used to identify several inspections within an operation.

BAPI: Insp.Point.GetList

This method generates a list of inspection points for an inspection lot operation. If necessary, you can limit the selection range with the help of upper and lower limits.

BAPI: InspPoint.CreateFromData

This method allows you to create an inspection point for an operation. The data consists of the inspection point identification and, if required, the partial lot, batch, and inspection point valuation.

BAPI: InspPoint.Change

This method allows you to change the partial lot, batch, and valuation of an inspection point. You cannot change the inspection point identification. This method uses the same data structures as "InspPoint.GetList" and "InspPoint.CreateFromData".

BAPI: InspPoint.GetRequirements

This method generates the inspection specifications for an inspection point and provides the following information:

Business object: Quality notification

BAPI: QualityNotification.GetKeyFigures

This method allows you to generate a list of related notifications or key figures.

You can use this information for statistical evaluations.
