QM: Inspections for Goods Receipt in
As of Release 4.0A, you can inspect materials that are held
in goods-receipt blocked stock (movement type
Previously, you could only create inspection lots for good
receipts that were posted out of goods-receipt blocked stock
(movement type 105).
In both cases, the system creates inspection lots with the
inspection lot origin 01 (goods receipt). The settings in
specify the movement types for which the system creates inspection
lots. In the standard system, the settings are as follows:
Movement type 105 is active
Movement type 103 is inactive

you process inspections for goods-receipts in blocked stock (as
opposed to normal goods-receipt inspections):

the inspection lot:
You can post the goods to unrestricted-use stock.
You can leave the stock in goods-receipt blocked stock.
