In Release 4.0A, the integration of the Quality Management
component in Materials Management was further expanded through the
following functions:
The function for correcting the actual quantity of an
inspection lot was expanded as follows:
You can make stock postings for goods-receipt inspection lots
with account assignments.
You can enter a posting date and material document date that is
not the same as the current date.
You can activate or deactivate the "delivery completed"
indicator.
You can enter a reason for making a correction in the actual
quantity.
You can enter a text for the posting.
The system checks your QM material
authorization when you correct the actual quantity of an inspection
lot.
Stock transfers for inspection lots
Using a new transaction, you can transfer the stock in an
inspection lot to another storage location or another plant. You
cannot transfer partial quantities of stock in an inspection
lot.
Recording material documents for an inspection lot
All material documents that reference an inspection lot or that
were created as a result of an inspection lot are recorded.
The reference types are as follows:
' ': Material document for a UD posting or quantity
correction
'1': Material document for the creation of an inspection
lot
'2': Material document for an actual quantity correction
'3': Material document for a usage decision transfer
posting
'4': Material document for an inspection lot stock
transfer
'5': Material document for follow-up deliveries after a stock
credit entry
You can display an overview of the material documents in the
transactions for the usage decision and the transaction for
displaying an inspection lot.
Customizing for deactivating QM
In the new Customizing table T156Q, you can deactivate the
inspection processing functions for certain movement types (see
transaction OMJJ).
