From Release 4.0A, you can define general maintenance task lists as configurable general maintenance task lists.
The prerequisite is that you assign a configuration profile to the general maintenance task list. This is used to assign the configuration classes and characteristics. You must continue to maintain the object dependency in the general maintenance task lists.
If the general maintenance task list is included in maintenance orders, you can valuate the characteristics for the configuration. The task list is then exploded with the valuated configuration characteristics and copied into the operations of the order. In addition to the selection operations, you can also recalculate operation values.
If you want to use this function, you should study the configuration of variants thoroughly.
