PI Sheet: Changes in Maintenance

Description

As of Release 4.0A, the following changes are valid with regard to PI sheet maintenance:

Possible entries for characteristics:

When calling the possible entries function (F4) on the value field of a characteristic, the following data is displayed on separate, consecutive dialog boxes:

• A default value for the characteristic, provided that the value has been defined in the process instruction

• Allowed values for the characteristic, provided that values, a value assignment function, or value table has been defined for the characteristic in Customizing (see Allowed values screen in the characteristic master record)

• Matchcodes, provided that a matchcode ID has been allocated to the characteristic in Customizing (see dialog box for process management)

Authorization for setting a PI sheet to technically complete

The new activity B2 (Set to technically complete) was included in the authorization object C_CRPI_BER (PI sheet). Users require this authorization to set a PI sheet to technically complete.

Change system parameters in customizing

The enhanced authorization check requires that you revise the authorization of those users who set PI sheets to technically complete in your system; see Authorization Management.
