The following changes have been made to the information system
as of Release 4.0A:

For each field, you can specify scaling and the number of
decimal places. To do this, choose Choose
For each field, you can choose Settings ->
Column header to specify whether the units appear in
the column header or behind the amount.
Date and time specifications are displayed to the maximum

summarization hierarchy. The individual records are accorded
priority as follows:
Priority 1: Group criteria
Priority 2: Summarization criteria
Priority 3: Sort criteria
For each criterion, you can specify sorting in either ascending
or descending order.
You can specify an output unit for each dimension. Where the
unit used is different, the amounts are converted as

The procedure for background processing when you access reports
has been simplified.
There is a field selection window for choosing columns and
criteria. You can now specify the output format and sorting
In exceptions, all objects meeting the criteria are

criteria. Filters now ensure that the system only displays the
objects which do meet the criteria.
Filters and exceptions appear in the page header.
You can use the Pickup function to access other functions at
various places. For example, you can use Pickup on a user criterion
to access the selection window Change user
The user filter, user exception, and sort/group/summarization
criteria fields have been made cursor-sensitive. This means that a
function is executed according to the column or criterion wher the
cursor is currently positioned. If the cursor is not in the columns
or criteria, the system displays a selection window.
It is now possible to use Pickup in the header to change the
width and order of columns.
Workforce Planning has been integrated into the period
You can evaluate orders which do not reference projects.
