New Features for the Treasury Information
System from 4.0A
If you have updated the system from Release F3.0/3 to Release
4.0 directly, then read also
RELEASE-INFO F304_TIS_1.
Variants
As of Release 4.0A you can create variants for drilldown
reports. This means that you no longer have to enter different
combinations of values when you start a report.
You can now use variant groups to structure your hedging
data.
Cash Management
New fields: "Planning year"
"Planning month"
"Planning week"
"Planning month (6 digit)"
"Planning week (6 digit)"
"Data origin" (Cash position and/or
Liquidity forecast)
"Cash mgt. data from"
You can now use drilldown reports in Cash Management to freeze the
status of past Cash Management data. Field "Cash mgt. data from"
has been introduced to do this. Read the F1 Help to find out more
about this field.
As of 4.0A, Cash Management has its own report tree.
Securities
New fields: "Index class"
Foreign exchange
Positions
New fields:
"Currency swap rate under currency translation type 101"
"Currency swap rate under currency translation type 102"
"Currency swap rate under currency translation type 103"
"Currency swap rate under currency translation type 104"
Using these four key figures (whose meaning you can define yourself
when you maintain the currency swap rates 101-104), you can measure
the rate in the foreign exchange transaction against other exchange
rates. The four currency translation types are set by default as
follows:
101: Middle rate, key date "Today"
102: Bid rate, key date "Today"
103: Middle rate, key date "Key date"
104: Bid rate, key date "Key date"
Market risk management
You no longer have to define the characteristic "Horizon" for
the whole form. You only define it for each cell of the form. This
means you can, for example, compare the net present value of
several horizons in one report.
