The Override Requirement Infotype (1040)
The Override Requirement infotype identifies any exceptions that apply to staffing requirements. Staffing requirements identify how many persons are required to work in an organizational unit, for a specified period of time. For example, 50 persons are required weekdays in shift 1. Exceptions override normal staffing requirements. Exceptions are defined when no staff are required because, for example, there is a company shutdown.
You must be working in Shift Planning to create Override Requirement infotype records, or to perform any other maintenance activities – change, delete, delimit, and so on.
The infotype pertains only to the Shift Planning component of HR, although infotype records can be viewed when you work with organizational units in Organizational Management.
