SAP Business Workflow (BC-BMT-WFM)

Elementary module which makes up a workflow definition.

A step can be:

• activity (= task reference)

• condition, multiple condition

• event creator, wait step

• container operation

• control command

• user decision

• loop

• undefined step

The arrangement and sequence of the individual steps can be sequential or parallel.

Steps within a workflow definition can only be changed or inserted according to certain rules, taking into account the block orientation.
