This is the date for which the system calculates credit. For example the credit date is used during enrollment, to calculate the amount of credit offered to a particular employee.

The system calculates this date and sets it to the most relevant for the current processing.

If the record you are processing is:

• a future record, the credit date is the begin date of the record,

• a past record, the credit date is the end date of the record,

• a current record, the credit date is the system date.
