requirements types

Definition

Requirement types are abbreviations and names used to identify special staffing requirements, or staffing requirements on weekdays or weekends.

In addition to the standard requirement types in the R/3 System, you can define your own requirements to cater to regional factors and seasonal trends, for example.

Use

The requirement types group together the requirements needed for a shift group or organizational unit.

Example

One shift group in your organizational unit only works at weekends. You assign this shift group the requirement type 'Weekend'. Only this requirements type can now be used for shift planning.
