Structure

A warehouse complex can group together several storage areas. These can be buildings, parts of buildings or an outside area.

A storage area comprises several storage bins in which stocks of materials can be stored.

For a storage area several storage sections can be defined, which group together storage bins with similar characteristics for the purpose of stock placement.

Example:

Although several combinations are possible, a warehouse complex can be comprised of a goods receipt area, a high rack storage area, a bulk storage area, a picking area and a goods issue area.
