An Introduction to the Time Sheet

You can use the time sheet to enter working times in the SAP R/3 System.

Whose working times can you enter ?

You can use the time sheet to enter your own working times. In order to do this, you are assigned your own personnel number in the system, if you do not already have one.

If you are an administrator, you can enter the working times of all employees assigned to you.

You do not have to be an employee of the enterprise to enter your working times. Likewise, in your capacity as administrator, the persons you enter data on do not have to be employees of the enterprise. The time sheet can also be used to enter the working times of external employees.

What type of information do you enter ?

You enter working times together with information that is relevant to further processing and evaluation of the data in various areas of the SAP R/3 System.

How does the system support data entry ?

The time sheet provides a complete overview of the working time data you have entered. You can see at a glance whether your data has been approved or rejected, for example.
