Check conversion rule

Conversion rules are used for employees to whom the white and green tax tables are not applicable. The data for conversion rules are defined by the tax office. They are part of the standard delivery and can be used as supplied by SAP. Please note that if necessary, data can be modified.

Example

Conversion rule A (the data is not complete): For employees younger than 65 the factor 31.5 / 37.65 is applied to wage tax (loonheffing). Wage tax is limited by a maximum amount (information valid for 1995).

Requirements

The following codes (indicators) must be maintained:

Standard settings

The conversion rule indicators are letters. For employees younger than 65 and persons from age 65, the same letter is used. The difference is registered by assigning age codes.

Note: The letter 'O' is used for employees from age 65 with income received from the present employer who want to be assigned a tax class other than 1. This rule is stored under age code '0' [zero] (younger than 65).

Recommendation

It is possible to change data if desired. Please note that when making changes, you must always use the data defined by the tax authorities.

Activities

1. Enter the data for conversion rule / age code.
2. To change values, delimit the old data by creating a new record with the required begin date and the new values. Data that does not change must also be transferred into the new record.
