'Loonheffing': Check classification levels

Wage tax / social insurance contributions [loonheffing] (in some instances abbreviated to 'tax' or 'wage tax') are calculated using a graded tax system based on income brackets [schijventarief]. This system is applied to the annual wages after deduction of expenses and tax-free amount. In this step you can define the limits of the income brackets.

The values are part of the standard delivery and can be used as supplied by SAP. However, if necessary, data can be modified.

Requirements

None.

Standard settings

The values defined in the system are the limits of the income brackets 1 and 2 [schijf 1 and 2].

Recommendation

It is possible to change values. Please note that when making changes, you must always use the data defined by the tax authorities.

Activities

1. To change the limit of income bracket [schijf] 1, delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct begin date and the new value.
2. To change the limit of income bracket [schijf] 2, delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct begin date and the new value.
