Deleting a Change Request from the Import Queue

Prerequisites

In exceptional cases, it may be necessary to delete a change request from the import queue so that the request is not imported into the target system.

If you delete change requests from the import queue, there is a risk that inconsistencies may occur during the next import due to interrelationships.

You delete request 1 containing a data element. It is not imported.

In request 2, you transport a table that references this data element.

Since the referenced data element does not exist in the target system, you will encounter an activation error when request 2 is imported.

Procedure

To delete a request from the import queue, proceed as follows:

  1. Call transaction STMS.
  2. Choose Overview ® Imports.
  3. This takes you to the import overview.

  4. Position the cursor on the R/3 System from whose import queue you want to delete the request.
  5. Choose Import queue ® Display.
  6. This takes you to the import queue of the selected R/3 System.

  7. Position the cursor on the request to be deleted.
  8. Choose Request ® Delete.
  9. Confirm the prompt.

Result

The request is deleted from the import queue and the display refreshed.
