Archiving Batch Records (PP-PI)

Prerequisites

When you close the order, the system does not check whether all process messages have been sent successfully. To make sure that all messages are transferred to the batch record, check the message log on the message monitor first.

Procedure

  1. As required, choose
  2. – On the initial screen for batch maintenance Environment ® Batch record ® Archive

    – On the application menu for process orders Tools ® Process data doc. ® Batch record ® Archive

  3. Enter the criteria for batch selection and choose Program ® Execute.
  4. Select the batch you want to process and choose Batch record ® Archive.

Result

The system creates the print list to be archived and exports it asynchronously to the optical archive.

The system sets the following statuses:

The objects belonging to the order are locked and can no longer be changed.

You can display the archived print lists in the header record of the batch record. The simulation function is no longer active.
