In this IMG activity, you must determine the planning steps in
your company and correspondingly prepare certain automatic planning
- Automatic revaluation/change
The function "Goto -> Variants" lets you maintain the
selection variants so that you can carry out these automatic
planning steps in the background as well.
A typical sales and profit planning could look something like
1. You create a proposal for manual
quantity planning by copying actual quantities of the current year
to a plan version.
2. Then you revaluate the actual
quantities based on plan assumptions in individual business areas,
customer groups and geographical regions.
3. You manually adjust your sales
quantity plan based on feedback from field service employees.
4. Then you automatically valuate the
plan quantities based on price information from SD or based on
average values or plan prices using ratios.
5. You check to what extent your
goals are achieved and automatically transfer the plan quantities
to Sales and Operations Planning to check production
