Maintaining the Sampling Procedure for the Inspection During Production

The sample size is determined during an inspection on the basis of the sampling procedure. The sampling type stored in the sampling procedure defines how the sample is determined; the valuation mode defines rules for accepting or rejecting a characteristic or sample.

When you maintain the sampling procedures, only fixed samples can be defined as the sampling procedure for the inspection during production with inspection points.

You can only use sampling procedures in which the indicator for inspection points is set in routings or recipe used for the inspection during production with inspection points.

You can define an inspection frequency by setting the indicator for inspection points in the sampling procedure. The inspection frequency and the inspection grid in the routings or recipe together determine the number of inspections to be performed for each characteristic.
