DB2 User Exit Messages

 

Success exit message:

"LFX0000 - DB2 User Exit log file processing completed successfully!"

Error exit message:

"LFX<rc> - Error in db2uexit during log file processing! Check details!"

For the error exit message the return codes have the following meaning:

invalid parameters: The DB2 User Exit expected different call parameters. Check if you use the correct version of the user exit program 'db2uext2'.

It is a program error. Report to SAP.

invalid DBM parameter:

 

It is a program error. Report to SAP.

LFX0035

open failed - source file of a copy

 

process does not exist.

 

In case the source is the log file

 

to be archived by the DB2 User Exit.

 

this is just a warning. This means

 

that the log file probably has been

 

moved manually away from the online

 

log file directory. Ensure that the

 

log file is still available somewhere

 

or you may be in trouble in case of

 

a recovery. If the DB2 User Exit

 

program was not used for archiving

 

then the log file is not manageable

 

by the SAP-DB2admin tool any more!

LFX0036

open file failed - doesn't exist:

It is generated in the SAP-DB2admin

 

database. If this error occurs check

 

the ADM<SID> database of your managed

 

instance. In case of doubts contact

 

SAP support.

LFX0110

RecordInfo failed:

 

An action step cannot be protocolled

 

in the SAP-DB2admin database. Check

 

for the cuase of this. However,

 

processing will continue.

LFX0111

protocol database connect error:

 

Check from DB2 command line (CLP)

 

if a connection to ADM<SID> can be

 

established. If not, check your DB

 

instance. In case of further problems

 

contact SAP very soon.

LFX0112

ADM<SID> object creation failed:

 

No log file entry can be made into

 

the SAP-DB2admin database. Processing

 

cannot continue.

 

Check for additional messages.

LFX0113

ADM<SID> Put CF failed:

 

Check for additional messages.

 

Processing stops because important

 

configuration data cannot be written
