Use

You can use the Preferences sub-profile to store the individual preferences, aspirations and goals of persons (and of the other object types listed above) with regard to their professional development. Preferences can be taken into account in career and succession planning scenarios.

A salesperson in your sales department wants to learn German. His mid-term goal is to become Department Manager. You assign him preferences for the qualification English Skills and the position of Department Manager.

Structure

The object type and name are displayed for every relationship.

You can specify a validity period for every preference.

Integration

You can also set up a Preferences sub-profile for object types other than those for which standard settings have been made. For further information about defining profiles, refer to the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Personnel Development (step: Functions ® Define profile view).
