Limits on Deductions

Definition

Set up standard limits on deductions using the Payroll Implementation Guide, Limits on Deductions chapter. The limits set here apply to deductions created for an employee using Recurring payments and deductions (Infotype 0014) records, and are processed automatically by the payroll.

These limits will, for instance, determine that no more than 5% or $150 may be deducted from the total gross amount an employee receives per month.

If you wish different limits to apply to certain deductions for particular employees, you may override the automatic limits by creating a Limits on Deductions (Infotype 0165) record for them.
