Additional Payments

Definition

Additional payments constitute additional wage elements which are not usually accounted for in every payroll period. Unlike the Infotype Recurring payments and deductions, however, they do not occur at a particular frequency. Instead, they are accounted for only once on a fixed date, which you determine when you create an additional payment.

In Japan, additional payments include the following:

SYOYO, Non-Periodical SYOYO, and retirement allowances are processed by the Off-cycle payroll process.

Use

You can create additional payments in Infotype 0015 and then change them using infotype maintenance.

Unlike basic pay, additional payments can have a different account assignment. For example, you can define a cost center instead of the master cost center to deal with costs that arise as a result of these payments.
