Registering an Employee's Health Insurance Status from Hiring

Procedure

  1. Enter the official announcement date for the employee and choose Hiring.
  2. Process all infotypes set as a default values of Hiring until the Infotype 0140 subtype 1 Health Insurance is displayed.
  3. Enter the insurance status indicators, from the following list, that apply to the employee:
  4. – 0: Taisyougai

    – 1: Ippan

    – 2: Part

  5. Enter the insurance number for the employee. If you do not know the insurance number yet, you can enter it later
  6. Enter an Acquired/Lost indicator from the following list:
  7. – 0: Other

    Use this indicator when the SI exemption modifier is set.

    – 1: Acquired

    Use this indicator when an employee joins health insurance. It will be selected from the health insurance qualification acquisition report.

    – 2: Lost

    Use this indicator if the employee is no longer eligible for health insurance. It will be selected from the health insurance qualification lost report.

    – 3: Change (Lost and acquisition)

    Use this indicator when the Social Insurance Office of jurisdiction changes. It will be selected from the health insurance qualification acquisition report and the lost report.

    – 4: ID Change (apply unnecessary)

    Use this indicator when there is an indicator change which you do not have to report to the social insurance office.

    – 5: Non-member

    Use this indicator when an employee is not a health insurance member.

  8. Enter the Acquired/Lost reason.
  9. The reason applied to the cause of the qualification Lost or the acquisition status of the health insurance qualification acquisition report and the lost report is specified.

    Please refer to table view HR Indicator SI Insured JPN, HR Social Insurance Entitlement Acquired/Lost JPN for the possible entries of reason indicator which can be input.

  10. Enter the SI exemption modifier from the amount of social insurance if necessary.
    Specify when the employee is exempt from the health insurance deduction (when on maternity leave and so on). When you do this, the health insurance fee contribution is not deducted from the Payroll and the SYOYO calculation.
  11. Save the entries.

Result

The status of health insurance is registered for the employee.
