Performing the Payroll Run



This section describes the activities you must perform when executing a payroll run. The usual sequence for a complete payroll run is as follows: Release payroll, Start payroll, Check payroll results, Correct payroll (if necessary) and finally Exit payroll.


This predefined sequence is interrupted if a split payroll run (payroll accounting with qualified advance payment) is performed. Split payroll runs occur when more than one payroll or payment run is performed in a single payroll period.
