Year End Adjustment

Definition

The System comprises two types of Year-End-Adjustment: the Year-End-Adjustment and the Year-End-Adjustment correction run.

Use

The Year-End-Adjustment process is designed to run in parallel with the monthly payroll or the SYOYO payroll. In the standard system, the Year-End-Adjustment process is set up to run in parallel with the monthly payroll. For this reason, the payment of returning amounts or the collecting of withholding amounts, can take place during the monthly payroll or during the Year-End-Adjustment payroll.

On the other hand, the Year-End-Adjustment correction run is performed as an independent process, and the payment of returning amounts or the collecting of withholding amounts takes place in the subsequent monthly payroll.

You can select a type of Year-End-Adjustment using the customizing system. Please refer to Set up type of Y.E.A. calculation in the IMG for further information.
