Starting Y.E.A. Correction Run

Starting the Y.E.A. correction run calls up a country-specific payroll driver which then performs a complete Y.E.A. correction run for the selected employees in accordance with settings in a country-specific schema.

  1. Select Y.E.A. recalculation ® Start payroll.
  2. The Pay period fields (payroll area/PP/YYYY) are not used in the SYOYO payroll. In the Off-cycle payroll, specifying the payroll accounting area, which indicates the accounting period, does not have any meaning. Field Payment day should be used instead.

  3. Specify an individual personnel number or range of personnel numbers in the field Personnel number.
  4. Specify an individual payroll area or range of payroll areas in the field Payroll accounting area.
  5. If you use both the Personnel number and the Payroll accounting area fields, only the employees that match the values in both fields are selected. Enhanced selection options are available for the fields Personnel number and Payroll accounting area. Please see the description of the standard selection screen.

  6. Field Special Run should be used only with Off-Cycle payroll accounting. For the rightmost field specify A (any other value is not currently supported). For the second field specify C, which indicates Y.E.A. correction. For the third field you must specify 12 (December).31 for the year in question. These fields are normally preset, when Y.E.A. recalculation is selected from the Year-end adjustment menu screen.
  7. The field Retroactive accounting date is not used in the Y.E.A. correction accounting.

  8. Select Program ® Execute. A log is displayed when the Y.E.A. correction run is complete.
  9. Use the log to check that the results of the simulated Y.E.A. recalculation are correct and that employees were not rejected.

If personnel numbers are rejected or not selected do not exit the payroll program. Instead, you must check the payroll results and correct master data and time data for the appropriate personnel numbers where necessary.

The Y.E.A. correction run is started.
