Checking Payroll Status for Retirement Allowance
You can perform a retirement allowance payroll run only if the regular payroll has been closed. Therefore, the payroll status must be set to End of Payroll.
You can perform a retirement allowance payroll run only for those employees that are assigned to a payroll accounting area which has been closed. You must check that the status of the related payroll accounting area is set to End of Payroll before you perform a retirement allowance payroll run.
The payroll options screen is displayed.
You may already have set the personnel country grouping and payroll accounting area when you entered your user parameters.
The retirement accounting options screen is displayed.
The payroll accounting area selection screen is displayed.
The selected payroll accounting area is displayed.
If necessary, release the corresponding payroll accounting areas. For information on releasing payroll accounting areas, refer to the section Payroll Activities.
The status of the payroll area is checked.
