To distribute control data filter
objects are entered in the distribution model for the CONDAT
message type. When you maintain the control data distribution in
the distribution model and subsequently distribute the model, this
has the effect that:
The control data gets distributed from the maintenance system
to the receiver systems entered in the distribution model using the
correction and transport system.
In systems that are specified as the receivers of control data
objects, the maintenance of these control data objects is locked.
Only those control data objects to be distributed to a specific
system are locked in this system.
When maintaining control data, your
changes will be recorded by the correction and transport system in
a change request. After you have maintained the control data, the
change request is released and is ready for transport.
When the transport request is released, a ALE distribution model
is checked to ascertain whether other systems are interested in any
of the control data objects. If so, the Transaction BD77 with the
parameter transport request is called and the user is shown a list
of all the objects. It is then processed further in one of two
Transport requests are generated for each system, containing
the exact set of objects that are defined by the intersection of
the distribution model (message type CONDAT) and the request just
released. This transport request must then be released and
An IDoc for the message type CONDAT can be sent to each system,
which then generates a work flow item in the target system. The
person processing the work flow item can display a list of all
these objects (the same as with Transaction BD77) and can start
Transaction SM30 or SCUO to start the standard tables
synchronization for each object. The synchronization must be
carried out manually.
It is recommended to choose the first option and to notify the
administrator of option 2 as this does not require you to
synchronize the tables manually.
